Pyramids Tour: A day-trip to 3 Pyramid Sites

The Pyramids at Giza are one of the seven ancient wonders of the world.

This tour includes the famous Giza plateau (with the three great pyramids and the sphinx), Saqqara (home of the first pyramid and the step pyramid), and Darshur (red and bent pyramids). You’ll get to visit all the sites in comfort and can even visit inside the pyramids.

You’ll travel with a private, air-conditioned car and a driver who speaks English. A professional guide is optional. This tour leaves from the hostel at 8:30am, so you can enjoy our complimentary breakfast. Entrance fees are not included.

Price: This tour is 110EGP per person as long as there is more than one person going. It is is an additional 100EGP (divided amongst the the whole group) if you would like a professional guide. Pricing does not include entrance fees or food.

This tour will save you money! At Giza it costs an extra 100EGP to go inside the Cheops Pyramids, but at Darshur the entrance fee to the grounds also covers the price of entering the pyramid.

City Tour in Cairo: Visit old Cairo

The Hanging Church of Coptic Cairo

On this tour you’ll visit the famous Citadel, Islamic and Coptic Cairo, and, depending on time, the Egyptian museum in a private, air-conditioned car. A professional guide is optional and entrance fees are not included.

The Citadel is home to the beautiful alabaster Mohammad Ali Mosque, a museum, and several other, smaller mosques. It offers a great view of old Cairo. Wait for the call to prayer and you will experience the richness of this daily ritual.

Islamic Cairo boasts hundreds of historically important mosques and other Islamic monuments such Ibn Tulin and Sultan Hassan Mosques. Coptic Cairo is the historically important home to the city’s Coptic Christian population. You’ll see the Coptic Museum and the Hanging Church, among other interesting sights.
